Google Calendar Integration

Our Appointify application offers an optional integration with Google Calendar. If you choose to connect your Google Calendar account, our app will request permission to create and manage events.

  • Scope of Access: We will only create new events in your Google Calendar and access events that were created by Appointify.
  • No Access to Unrelated Data: We do not read, store, or process any existing calendar events or data that are not directly related to Appointify.
  • Purpose of Use: The integration is used solely to synchronize appointments booked through Appointify with your Google Calendar.
  • Data Sharing: We do not share any Google Calendar data with third parties. Your data is only used to provide the synchronization functionality.
  • Revoking Access: You can disconnect your Google Calendar account from Appointify at any time. You may also revoke our access through your Google Account settings: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

  • Automatic Deletion on Uninstall: If you uninstall our Shopify app, all associated data (including appointments and connected calendar data) will be automatically deleted within 48 hours.
  • User-Controlled Deletion: You may delete appointments and any associated Google Calendar events at any time using the delete option in the app.
  • Custom Retention Settings: You may configure your own data retention period in the app settings (for example, automatically deleting data after 36 months).
  • Manual Requests: You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within 30 days and permanently delete your data, unless retention is required by law.

Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
